FLW-400 Product Description

Root resistant and vapour control layer made of 0.4 mm thick elastic polyethylene regenerate, root resistance tested according to standard CEN/TS 14416:2014. Applicable as a vapour control layer and can be used as a root resistant layer on green roofs when lied down with a 1.0 m overlapping. Dimensions: 4 × 25 m (W × L); roll width: 1 m; wrapping: 100 m2/roll; colour: black; weight: 0.35 kg.

FLW-500 Product Description

Root resistant and vapour control layer made of 0.5 mm thick elastic polyethylene regenerate, root resistance tested according to stan- dard CEN/TS 14416:2014. Applicable as a vapour control layer and can be used as a root resistant layer on green roofs when lied down with a 1.5 m overlapping. Dimensions: 6 × 25 m (W × L); roll width: ca. 1.5 m; wrapping: 150 m2/roll; colour: black; weight: 0.47 kg.

FLW-1000 Product Description

Root resistant layer made of 1 mm thick plasticized PVC. On green roofs with an overlapping of 5 cm, the seams can be joined using a hot welding hand tool or THF solvent welding agent. NOT bitumen- and UV resistant. Di- mensions: 1.5 × 25 m (W × L); surface weight: 1.4 kg/m2; colour: black; packaging: 37.5 m2/roll; roll weight: ca. 52.5 kg.

Application

The root systems of plants on intensive green roofs can damage the building structure. Ad- ditionally, various wind-carried plants may ap- pear on extensive green roofs, including those with aggressive roots or rhizomes, which can threaten traditional waterproofing. Therefore, appropriate root protection must be ensured for every vegetated roof surface.
