Advantages
- High rainwater retention -> ca. nearly 12 l/m2 of water storage capacity
- Delayed rainwater runoff stepped barriers avoid overuse of wastewater channel system
- Runoff reference value (C) 0,29 -> water delay over 70% according to FLL1
- Microbiological resistance test (EN 12225) -> protective function for waterproofing against biological effects
- Recessed evaporation vents -> unobstructed aeration
- Negligible overlap loss -> economical installation and cost savings
- Increased contact area -> decreased surface pressure
DIADEM® build-up
- DiaMatPRO sedum mat
- extensive substrate (SEM) 4-15 cm
- VLF-150 separation and filter geotextile
- DiaDrain-25H drainage board
- VLU-300 mechanical protecting geotextile
- root-resistant waterproofing membrane
- additional layer
Application
Flow-delay retention board for extensive and semi-intensive greenroofs, areas suitable for
passenger car traffic, made of recycled highimpact polystyrene (HIPS). The flow-delay and the retention functions are provided by the stepped barrier design.
